Everything it does

One workshop, from the first idea to the last song of the night.

A quick, honest tour of what is in setshed today. It is a young, community-built tool. Some of this is new, but everything here works.

One shared library

  • One cloud library your whole band edits together: stems, videos, lyrics, markers and setlists in one place.
  • Runs in your browser. Nothing to install to start.
  • Roles (admin, write, read) and invites by link.
  • Every save is kept. A song someone mangles can be restored on its own, from the day it was right.
  • Pin notes on a song's timeline and read an activity feed of what changed while you were gone.

The editor, new look

  • One calm canvas, one accent, and the transport along the bottom like a player.
  • Track rows show each stem's family and output at a glance; routing, gain and transpose open on the row.
  • A preview pane you can size, a markers lane that folds away, and family mutes pinned while you scroll.
  • Beat-grid alignment, trims, fades, a per-song start offset, and transpose by semitones for a track or the song.
  • A headphone send per track and instrument groups that route to your outputs.
  • Import a .backup, a single-song .export, a .zip of stems, or start from scratch. Round trip to Reaper with stems and video.

The Shed, your band's idea space

  • Record riffs the moment they hit: dry from your mic, or wet through the live amp tone so the idea keeps your sound. To the metronome, with a count-in.
  • Review before you share. Takes stay on your machine until you keep them. Toss the duds, add the keepers, and the band gets one notification.
  • Riff to song in one click. It becomes the first stem, with a click track at your tempo.
  • Filters by who, wet or dry, and filed or not, a player on every riff, and file a riff under a song.
  • Lyrics: a shared scratchpad you type in or import from .txt, PDF or Word. Use in a song pushes the words into that song's teleprompter.

Wet (amp-tone) recording needs the free setshed desktop app.

Your rehearsal space

  • A private mix of the band's song: mute your part, drill the hard bits, and nobody else's mix moves.
  • An A-B loop that snaps to bar lines.
  • Transpose to your voice, a metronome with tap tempo and accents, and a chromatic tuner.
  • Rehearse this set runs a whole setlist in order, through your live amp.
  • Your rehearsal setup auto-saves to your profile.

Live guitar tone

  • A real amp and cab over your backing tracks while you rehearse, built on Neural Amp Modeler captures, including the light A2 models.
  • 260+ amps and 430+ cabs stock, and any .nam drops in: community captures or ones you train from your own rig.
  • The chain is gate, amp, EQ, cab. Save named rigs per song.
  • Shares your output by default, so YouTube and the video preview keep playing. Exclusive mode is one click away.

Needs the free setshed desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Setlists, shows and the prompter

  • Playlists and multi-scene shows: songs, metronome counts, breaks and video slots, with auto-advance, a true-runtime footer and a Print / PDF set sheet.
  • Full-show preview: video, synced lyrics and the running order, end to end.
  • Openers that tuck the count-in under your intro video's tail, so the downbeat lands as it ends.
  • Teleprompter with lyrics, chords or PDF charts, timed to the song with auto page-turns, in your font and colours.
  • Cast the prompter to any phone on your Wi-Fi. Section markers and a per-song video or image.

Rig automation

  • Your modeler, synth or multi-FX, anything that speaks MIDI, switches presets in time with the song.
  • A per-song timeline of Program Change and CC cues, fired live as the set plays.
  • Map any device to a MIDI channel and save named presets to reuse across songs.

Sends MIDI straight from the browser over Web MIDI. Chrome or Edge.

Works with your B.Beat

  • Open the .backup you already have and your whole library appears in the browser.
  • Send to B.Beat pushes the library to the device over your network, or sync one song live with no restart.
  • Check & save: a two-second check that reads no audio names what changed on the device, then saves just that.
  • Setlists and playlists come across both ways, including playlists built on the device.
  • A dry run before you Send, Compare audio against the device, Wi-Fi setup and a storage meter. The desktop app adds USB export for the official update path.

Device sync runs through the free desktop app, verified on B.Beat Evo. Your backup stays the safety net.
