setshed is built in the open with the bands testing it — most of what's
below started as somebody saying “hey, this is weird.” Newest first.

Real shows, private rehearsal, and a B.Beat sync that checks first
Build the actual running order — songs, metronome counts, breaks and video
slots, dragged between scenes. A footer shows the true set length including gaps,
and a Print / PDF sheet goes on the monitor.
Rehearse this set — run the whole order with your own mix and your own tone,
without touching what the band sees.
Check & save B.Beat to cloud — a two-second check that reads no audio,
tells you exactly what changed on the device, and saves only that. A 4 GB
library save became a 30 MB one.
A headphones button on every track — send it to the B.Beat's phones output
on top of its normal routing.
Big libraries open fast — the largest band on the service went from 95 seconds
to about one.
Chrome and Edge now ask your permission before a site may talk to your own
computer — it looks exactly like the agent not running. setshed now asks for that
permission itself and walks you to the switch if the prompt doesn't appear.
Send one song to your B.Beat — live, no restart
Sync a single song. Right-click any song and push just that one to a connected
B.Beat — stems, mix, video, lyrics and charts. If it's already there it updates
in place; if it isn't, it's added live. No full library push, no reboot.
Pull a song back. Copy one song off the device into your cloud library, or
remove a song from the device when you drop it from the set.
Download any song as a .export in the B.Beat's own format —
a portable copy you can hand to a bandmate or load straight onto a device.
Teleprompter timing now matches the B.Beat exactly, with nudge and shift tools,
multi-line selection and one-click revert for fine-tuning without re-syncing a song.
The beat grid now locks to your click track, so markers and loops land on the bar.
Big libraries got a lot faster
Saves only write what changed. Same result down to the byte — far less
waiting when your library runs to hundreds of songs.
Imports you can resume. If a big batch fails part-way, re-select the whole lot
— anything already uploaded is skipped instead of duplicated.
Uploads run in parallel with live progress and transfer speed.
A first-run tour that walks you through the desktop app, adding songs, and
which formats work.
Rehearsal amp: the pop-out window fits the amp instead of the screen, and the backing
track follows whichever song you're rehearsing.
The Shed, and imports that bring everything
The Shed — your band's idea space. Record a riff on the spot with a
metronome and your live amp tone, watch the waveform as you play, keep the good takes
and bin the rest. Turn any riff into a real song with a click track in one click.
Lyrics scratchpad the band shares — type in it, or import from text,
PDF or Word.
Single-song import brings it all — stems, mix, lyrics, chords, PDF charts
and their page-syncs, from one .export.
Add a song from loose stems or a .zip right in the browser.
Display names instead of email addresses, a unified member list with resend, and an
email when a bandmate leaves a note.
View-only members get their own practice space rather than a read-only dead end.
